Debbie A. Bell

Debbie A. Bell was born into a Communist family and she has been making her contributions to the Civil Rights Movement, The Labor Movement, the movement fighting for quality public education and the movement struggling for Socialism all of her life.

She is:

• The Chairperson of the Communist Party of E. PA and DE
• A Founding Member and Treasurer of the Black Radical Congress
• A Former Executive Board Member of the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers
• A Former Member of the AFL-CIO Central Labor Council
• A Founding Member and Former Treasurer of the Labor Party
• Former Field Secretary for the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee
• A Retired Philadelphia Public School Teacher.
